My hope, my power and my strength

I sat under the shining stars of the rainbow nation wondering about my life

In my nerves I could feel the disappearance of my hope

My eyes making heavy noises and sounds from the heavy floods of tears

The sense of life ‘being unfair’ was unfolding from deep within

But just in a glimpse of an eye, travelling at the speed of light you arrived

My vision, my hope and divine destiny

Suddenly I felt like I was in paradise, the life you showed me made enough sense

Surely before you arrived I lived my life in vain

How I wish I had known that you’ve been living inside me all along

With you are the gifts of life renovation and meaningful expectations

Upon your arrival you stimulate the ability of creativity and productivity

Indeed you are the secret weapon of every successful individuals and even organisations

You are called vision because you see the life ahead, and with you the future is bright

You changed and transformed my life, now my brains are equipped to think innovation

Degrees and certificates are surely nothing but papers without you

Those who choose their careers with you enjoy the spoils afterwards

PRAYING BIBLICALLY!!!!

Chapter 1: sanctification/purification prayer

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions.  Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.  For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me.  Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight; so you are right in your verdict and justified when you judge.  Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.  Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb; you taught me wisdom in that secret place.  Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.  Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones you have crushed rejoice.  Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity.  Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.  Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.  Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.  Then I will teach transgressors your ways, so that sinners will turn back to you.  Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, you who are God my Saviour and my tongue will sing of your righteousness.  Open my lips, Lord, and my mouth will declare your praise.  You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it; you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.  My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise.  May it please you to prosper Zion, to build up the walls of Jerusalem.  Then you will delight in the sacrifices of the righteous, in burnt offerings offered whole; then bulls will be offered on your altar.

Away from me, you who are bloodthirsty!  They speak of you with evil intent; your adversaries misuse your name.  Do I not hate those who hate you, LORD, and abhor those who are in rebellion against you?  I have nothing but hatred for them; I count them my enemies.  Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.  See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Chapter 2: prayer of protection and complete surrender

(21 There, by the Ahava Canal, I proclaimed a fast, so that we might humble ourselves before our God and ask him for a safe journey for us and our children, with all our possessions. 22 I was ashamed to ask the king for soldiers and horsemen to protect us from enemies on the road, because we had told the king, “The gracious hand of our God is on everyone who looks to him, but his great anger is against all who forsake him.” 23 So we fasted and petitioned our God about this, and he answered our prayer)

 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.  He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.  He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake.  Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.  You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever

The road of life is mostly shaped in pains and tears, worries and struggles, but it is your duty to create joy. It is so true that success doesn’t bring happiness, but it is happiness that brings success, for whatever thing you do willingly and with joy, you surely shall succeed and be happy with your life. Take a close look at the people who are rich because they sacrificed other people’s life to get rich, those who get positions by evil means, are they happy now, and some made vows and now they are paying the price. Can’t you be strong and be patient with your progress than in need of things very fast. You only need three keys which leads to success; patience,  persistence and perspiration; these three combinations invokes the feeling of excitement and rise the emotion of happiness in your heart and mind, and thus whatever while you are happy, you'll surely be successful in it.

The most unfortunate thing is the fact that people run errands in competition, because your friends and primary school mates are driving cars then you also wants to drive even though you don’t have a driver’s licence. Yes life is a competition, but some competitions don’t need you to sacrifice your future in order to win, you just have to enjoy playing the odds and fate will ensure that you get what you worked for. The very best way of revenge to whatever you’ve been going through is massive success, the sense of proving that every event that you’ve been through was all worth it in the end. Most people strive the road of success without hard work, that’s far more like trying to harvest where you’ve not planted. It takes a seed to grow, fighting hard against harsh seasons, but at the end it bears sweet fruits that you enjoy without thinking what the mother seed could have went through to give you what you want.

People fail to try because their fear of losing is much greater than the excitement of winning; the kind of people who are successful are not those who were born rich, but those who had visions and worked hard to achieve. Failing is another factor that strengthens your ambitions and strategies needed for you to win, not a reason to quit. When people look at a successful person, they only see the public glory, never the deep private sacrifices they made to reach where they are. You'll notice that the harder you work, the more opportunities you create for yourself and other people around you and hence the more lucky you get in succeeding. The real fear of success is procrastination, because success is so heavy and carries many responsibilities with it, and then it is simple to procrastinate and live in other people’s failures.

Every person is meant to run their own race, our distances are not the same, if you are meant for 100m then why bother about 200m strategies?. Learn more about your journey, work hard in your lane and it will all pay off. Asking permission from people will only discourage you from working your way to the top, take to note that there are three types of people in this road, those who are afraid of making things happen, those who watch when things happen and those who make things happen. The people who are afraid to make things happen will give you quotes and examples of people who tried and failed; those who watch things happen will tell you that this and this are for this kind of people, they never include themselves in any good thing. And finally the people who make things happen will tell you that nothing is impossible for them that believe and the dreamers who work hard to make their dreams true.

The error of not designing your own life plan is you falling into someone’s plan which is not enough to carry what you have within you and thus leads you into complete failure. When you are not prepared for a journey, chances are high that you are likely not to reach the destination. Chances are very high for a person to do things that are less productive very efficiently the things that should not be done if they don’t have a vision. Before actions and hard workings, preparation is the best key to success; prepare yourself efficiently before engaging your commitment to your journey and you surely shall be successful. It is therefore good to not try to be a person of success, but be a person of value, in that way your success is described.

It is your attitude and not your aptitude that determines your altitude, is you don’t value your own time, and then don’t expect other people to do so. Unless you stop giving away your time and talents to useless things then you won’t see the greatness of what’s within you and the success of it. Success is determined and described by how high you bounce when you have hit the ground; when you fall once, it’s your opportunity to get up eleven times and run forward towards your goals and visions. The exact difference between a successful person and others is not the lack of knowledge or lack of strength, but it’s the lack of will. Because success is so attached to actions, successful people keep moving forward in such a way that when it happens they fall along the way, they don’t quit, but gather their momentum and keep running the race with courage and will.

The most important strategy is to aim for success that aiming for perfection, don’t be afraid to get it wrong, always secure the right to be wrong, and don’t forget the fact that fear is always lurking behind perfectionism. The best way to journey successfully is to start where you are, using what you have and doing the best you can. Being miserable or motivating yourself is always your choice, take the right path and it will show you its beauty. Making use in the right way this time create an advantage for next time to be fruitful unto you. The real failure in life is when you fail to recognize how close you were to your destination or success the moment you gave up, and its called failure to the exponent infinity.

Dreamers don’t quit, yet work extremely very hard to achieve their dreams; your life is not miserable because there are no jobs around you, but because you are lazy to use your brains which if you do, would create jobs for many. “…your doing small does not serve the world...”

“WHO ARE YOU NOT TO BE”

We are all defined by what we do, what we speak, how we do things and our behaviour in everything we encounter. The journey of life is not easy, yet simple to live and go on accomplishing our godly given purposes, the plans and visions we have. However though, there is still a mountain of confusion in everyone’s mind, people tends to question a lot of positive thoughts and ideas, there is too much at stake when something great is discovered within you than when nothing is discovered. When a situation is present and somebody has to rise against it, there are a lot of why and how questions, people ask themselves who are they to be brilliant, what makes them think they can conquer, what makes them think they can be heroes. And bodily speaking, it’s not about the situation, but it’s about who you are, it’s about what made you and what you are capable of.

We are not frightened by the hard times we encounter as we live, we are not discouraged by our incompetence which rises high when we face gigantic problems, and we are not even afraid of the darkness we seem to have fallen into, but we are frightened by our own selves, it is the ability and power within us that we redirect in the path of discouragement, yes it is our light that we are afraid of. We tend to think hardly against ourselves than initiating protocols that are needed to overcome the dilemmas of this world, we wrestle against our life giving ideas because we fail to understand ourselves and what we are capable of. If you are asking yourself about who are you to be rich if you were born in a poor background, also ask yourself who are you not to be.

From generation to generation people suffer from the same thing, people are caged in the same cell without burglars and lockers, you are only waging war against the air, no body caged you, yet you’ve arrested your own self, with your mind being the door keeper. You think you are trying but you also are not doing anything, you think you can change your situation, but the situation doesn’t need to be changed but to be transformed. It is unfortunate people are still running around looking for miracles forgetting that they themselves are miracles. Thoughts are always nourished by what you expose yourself to, you’ve been motivated and inspired for thousands of times yet you’ve never acted even once, you are narrating wonderful achievement stories about other people, where are the lines of your story, if surely they have been and they made it, then who are you not to be?

Time after time we beat ourselves by things we cannot change, a minute that has just passed cannot be retained, yet the one ahead can be fruitful if utilized rightfully. Wrestling against the wall with your bear hands cannot bring down the wall, you need hammers and other equipment to do the job for you. You can’t just close your eyes and expect things to happen by themselves, get up and get things rolling, there are a lot of people looking up to you, when they see you they see a lifetime motivation and believe that they will soon do more than you did, and unconsciously it might happen it be in a negative form if you continue to being negative. What makes you think that to be brilliant is only for certain individuals; top achievements do not have name tags until one decides to name it his/hers. Like it is said “your doing small does not serve the world”.

The concept of laying low doesn’t mean you should not do anything at all, it only mean that in whatever you do, you don’t do it with the tendency of being seen, you do great things, yet not too prideful to think that you are the only person to do it. Perhaps we should look at life in simple terms and do things that'll benefit us and the world around us. If it’s a relationship kind of life, live it until devil himself get jealous, excel in your academic life until there are no more papers to record your excellence, grow higher in business until here are no more spaces to build new developments, live that holy life until the angels decides to learn from you, write those books, articles until you run out of words since there are only about 26 alphabets in the English language. What I'm saying is, in whatever thing you are doing, do it to the best of your ability without limiting yourself with such questions that tend to question  your ability, if you do happen to ask yourself those questions, also ask yourself who are you not to be.

Sometimes we do things because we don’t have other choices, but before that we had a lot of choices, so it is wise to make a good choice and a right decision while you still can. Yesterday is an era of thoughts and past events, today is the right time to do things better than yesterday and tomorrow is the future of excellence, the moment of greatness and the time worth planning if you are still living today. Therefore living in yesterday ruins everything in your life, today can be made meaningless if one drags the negative thoughts of yesterday, tomorrow can be destroyed if one brings the failures of yesterday into the future. Yes you did fail yesterday because you were not prepared enough, but today you have enough time to prepare for all the odds of tomorrow. And I will ask you that with such knowledge, who are you not to be what you always wanted to be.

We are all given opportunities to prove ourselves, to show our strength and to demonstrate our capabilities that we can do even better. Only those who take their chances are described as not losers, no matter how many times they fail and fall, life keeps giving them another chance to rise and shine, to do even greater things than required per their abilities. And yet you still scramble and beat yourself together by throwing such heavy question upon yourself, discouraging your potential, suppressing your abilities. Whatever great thing you are asking yourself against, also ask yourself that who are you not to be.
